Diagre Bad Luck

I have lots of fun drawing newer, updated versions of my old characters. Here we have Diagre Bad Luck, who is both an important NPC for the Anathema RPG, a quite important character in the story of Haruk the Traitor, Isidora the Thief, Aryun the Bard and Baladera the Chosen. He is also the main character in another, very graphic, cruel and dark story that plays in the world of Anathema that I drew as a comic a year or so ago (sadly, this story can never be told completely on dA... but I might tell it in parts).

Diagre is an elf from Laedes, of purely Gotha-Shidhé (steppe elves) origin, complete with muscular build and red hair and freckles. He is an infantry officer in the Laedesh army, and a very skilled fighter, but he cannot ascend to higher positions like knight or pegasus rider because he is from a lower caste - he is a son of a Blacksmith. The only possibility for him to be promoted is for the Queen herself to decide that he is worth more.
