Because seriously, after killing all his (loyal) followers and most of his (less loyal) family, becoming a traitor to his own city, and doing everything possible to get rid of DAT STUPID DEMON!!!1111!11!!! that possesses him and finally suceeding, Malus does what? Summons the demon back into himself so he can use his demonic powers to rescue Hauclir from death, and ends up losing his soul. Well done, boy!

So the question about Hithuan - the tradition of keeping distance to each other in Dark Elven society, which dictates that the distance closer than one step is only reserved to assassins and lovers - is an absurdity when coming out of Hauclir's mouth. Pathetic. But loveable. Despite being TEH EVIL.

Malus Darkblade is a book series by Dan Abnett and Mike Lee, and belongs into the Warhammer Fantasy world, which belongs to Games Workshop, with whom I am in no way affiliated.
