After Tin'ha built me these new limbs, stronger and faster and much more fitting a warrior than a merchant and chronicler that I used to be in a life long since gone... After he fed me healing herbs to give me back my sanity, gave me wine mixed with the extract of antilope testicles to make me a man again... After he spoke to me for long hours, in his soothing and calm voice, and after he finally revealed to me that he would bring the Chronicle I lost my life writing to the Main Library so it would never be forgotten...

After all this, all I could think about was still Ryon Alaris. Ryon Alaris is carved in scars on my skin, shoved deep into my bowels, burned into my heart, scratched on the surface of my tongue in bloody trails. Ryon Alaris... All I could dream about was to see him again, and to look him in the eye while I slowly crush his throat with my new claws. But as I finally found him, he was just a name on a rock. His despicable queen has robbed me of the only pleasure that I can imagine in this long eternity as a living artefact.
