Okay, Lorraine's world is going into the next phase.

I have been working on this world for years now, since I was a little kid. And now I am planning to use it as a real roleplaying-game world, and not only for one-on-one roleplaying (have done this before), no, with an RPG group! I am a bit nervous, but also looking forward to testing it out.

This world has a name now, too: "Anathema", because the main part of the adventures and stories in the world usually revolves around powerful artefacts created by the gods or for the gods, called "anathema" (yes, in the Lorraine comic, it was planned, too... I just never came to the important part of the story there because of my lack of patience, so you can't see it there).

I have been drawing some new "model sheet" pictures for the races of Anathema, and generally been in a traditional drawing mood - so expect to see some of this!

Now where do I get these EP everyone is talking about?...


No matter how much I tried, all the new ideas for a style didn't stick. Yes, there are certain changes, I learned a bit, but there is one thing that I have to confess - drawing in a completely non-manga-style is no fun for me.

So I will take everything that I learned on my journey and simply use it to enhance my good old manga-like style. Maybe venturing into more western-comic or realistic style from time to time, but generally - back to what Lorraine and Bianca are made of. Of course, my lack of time will still keep me from posting much, but I hope that I will at least have more motivation when I don't think about finding a new style all the time

I feel finally at home, somehow. <= *for those who like visual imagery: imagine a little tired and pathetic blue doll thingie in ragged clothes and barefoot, happily and tearfully clinging to the doorstep of its old wooden forest hut*
